Ok, after a long, heartbreaking day today, we decided to walk bandit and Spinner... We turn up this street and as we are passing a house with 3 men sitting on the porch, we hear one of the men say *now that dog has a solid head, hes going to be huge when hes older*.. we did not say anything back - we just kept walking (they didnt look like friendly people).. so we're walking, and turn onto another road and this man and his girlfriend or wife are standing by his car.. he hollars at me asking if I want to sell the pup.. I told him *no thanks, we've already spent $700 on him, hes staying* so he starts telling me *we'll give you some of that back*.. I giggled and told him *I'll think about it if you give me $1,000 cash tonight and if I decide to, Ill bring him tomorrow*.. he just walks off from me and goes in his house.. I know my boy is stunning, but come on.. no means no!

LOL, people are crazy....

You know he didn't want him for a good reason. Good response.

When Gypsy was younger, I can't remember her age exactly, I know she was over a year old, possibly two years. Anyway, I had her in a Petco to get dog food, and this young couple asked to pet her. The guy asks me if I want to sell her. I laugh and say no. He offers me $100. Um, no. $200. No. OK, $500.

I just laughed and got in line to check out. Funniest thing about the situation was that he was dead serious the entire time.

I love it.. it makes me proud and tells me I am doing something right!!!

Almost the same thing happened to me when daisy was around 4 months. I'm walking my dog down Venice beach. guy Offers 300. I say no way I paid 800. He said I'll give you 1,000. I said tell you what if you can guess what blood line she is I'll give you her and the leash and her papers and records of her current shots tonight if you willing to spend that much right now.....And if you lose, you give me 5 dollars so I can buy some water for my dog. guy says ohh man seriously??? I say yeah fuck it why not??? Man says well she's a blue nose bloodline right? I said that's it? That's your answer?? Wow dude that's not even a bloodline. guy start laughing. Says dude would you have rally given me your dog??? I said no but wheres my 5 bucks?? Lol even after I told him I would have backed out of my word, dude still have me 5 dollars. Best water I think daisy has ever tasted.

HA HA! maybe I should have tried that.. tell me his bloodline and you can have him.. lol (I dont even knowhis bloodline, so we'd never know if they got it right)

People are nuts. I would have not even responded. lol

My friends were once offered $300 for their male Ransom (whose nickname is Handsome Ransom for a reason, he's gorgeous) while they were at a stop sign. The dude who offered them the money told them he'd make some great pups.

My friend said he wanted to tell him yes, just to see the look on the guy's face when the transaction was completed and he saw that Ransom was neutered.
