I know most of you have dogs that sleep but Puck hasn't held still unless he was in his crate and I covered it in the 3 months I have had him. He got furniture rights since he is the only man in my life and is sleeping on the futon by me. Not moving. Unbelievable. I actually went over to check if he was dead.

LOL so true. Still I'd rather have a gymnast than a couch potato any day. Does anyone else's dog do somersaults, Puck literally flips himself over head first and rolls like a pill bug or one of those M C Escher paintings. I think he has an extra hinge in his abdomen...
I think his mini nap did him (or me) more harm than good now he has the zoomies. |

I only get the after poop zoomies thankfully. |

Ah recharge, that makes sense! It's funny because he's usually pretty mellow in the morning (thankfully or I'd be bailing down the front steps headfirst). I usually (and I know I need to be more consistent but it's the morning I can barely make sure I didn't forget to put on pants) make him wait at the top or bottom of the stairs to follow me but mornings well sometimes I remember and am coherent and other times I sort of end up on the grass wondering how I got there.
As the day progresses and we play more he gets more and more hyper not less. I (er Puck rather) get zoomies all day, before after during poop sometimes. Ah puppies. ![]() |
