Default Do you think Kiara is part Pit?
Hello!

So about a month ago I got my Black Lab Kiara and right away people started telling me that she was part Pit. Something I have no problem with, I think she's amazing, but I still have gone to a few sites just to see what the pro's think. Then today I realized I had gone to a Dogs forum and I had gone to a Black Lab forum but I hadn't gone to any Pit Bull forums.

So I decided to come here to say hi and introduce myself and Kiara and see what you all think.

Obviously I'm also planning to stick around just for overall dog help, she's my first dog in a long time and she's the first dog I'm trying to raise right, so I'm sure I'll end up needing a lot of advice.

Anyway, I normally talk too much so this time I'm just going to shut up and let you all look at some pictures

Thanks!

I don't think she does. She looks like a lab/border collie mix to me. Very cute!

Adorable, I agree with Krista that I don't think she has pit bull in her. Her coat looks too thick/wavy. I think people might say pit bull mix because of her rose ears. They're common in other breeds too but rose ears on a lab mix can sometimes make them look pittie, IMO.

Thank you for the comments! I'll let her know what you all said hehe

I did look up some info on Lab Border Collie mix (borador I guess they call it) and I did find a lot of images of dogs that looked a lot more like her.

Again I don't really care what she is, but at the same time there is a desire to get to know her better so obviously it does matter to some point. Each bread of dog has his/her own personal traits so I think it would help me a lot to know the breeds more.

But she's so cute, the other day I opened the porch door for her to go into it for a bit, she kept picking stuff from the floor that she knows she's not supposed to pick up, and then she'd bring them to me. Why? I don't know.
