Default ugh.... i even warned them, now what? ugh!!!!
so my little sister and her "boyfriend" (its a weekly thing between them) decided to get a pit bull... i proceeded to tell her she needed to do lots of research and wait (shes still in high school and mom doesnt want anymore animals) well 2 days ago she was at his house and they went and got a puppy, he is a cute little puppy but my sisters boyfriend was like its cute, hes protective of us, he has another dog and when he got close to them he growled at him! i told them no,not cute, if hes already doin that keep them apart! well just a few minutes ago my sister texts me askin what to do, the dog is at her boyfriends and the dogs got into a fight, my sister doesnt have a car to go take the dog to a vet and her b/f is on house arrest and his mom wont take the dog to the vet... he has a tiny hole on his face and its leaking out some sort of liquid other than blood.... to me that doesnt really sound good! im so aggravated at them right now i could scream! and without seein the animal to know how bad it is i cant tell her if its an emergency to get to the vet!!! but at the same time i dont have the gas in my car or know how to drive a stick to take the other car to go get the puppy! UGH!! im so mad!! (any advice on somethin to put on the hole to clean it out until somethin can be done would be appreciated!)

Damn. Another reason why some people shouldn't own this breed. How big is the hole? I would try to find a way to get the pup to the vet if it's a big hole. Do not put peroxide in it, it puffs up the skin and can make it worse.

Personally, I would get the dog to a vet if at all possible. However, over the years as my dogs have gotten nicks and scraps I have always used peroxide and triple antibiotic ointment. Cleaning the wound with peroxide and then putting the ointment on it.

However, the fact that it is a puncture wound does concern me, they are not something to play around with.

Good luck!

I'd go get it and pay to submit it to a rescue or whatever... it doesn't need to be in their hands period.

she told me its just a tiny hole... but i havent seen it! i could kick both their a$$es!!! i am furious at her! this wouldnt have happened if it would have been brought to moms house, but mom had already told her no! so she shouldnt have gotten it! she thinks she can do watever i did when i was younger, but the difference is mom knows i always took care of the animals i brought home, she hardly ever did and i would take over them and she would end up throwin a baby fit later on because i "stole" her animals!!! now needless to say i havent lived there in over 2 years but when im around her not much has ssemed to changed!

I want to punch you sister in the face too! No offense

My younger brother wants a pit now that I have one, and i made my mom promise that he CANNOT get one until I say he is ready. I know he will be a good bully owner one day, but he needs more experience and he needs to learn to be strict but loving

If it were me I would take the pup to a vet at once.

You can always kick asses that need kicking later.

If you lived closer, I would help with the kicking.

With that much swelling, he needs to see a vet... There could be broken bones.

Take a cab or get a friend to drive her to the vet. It that wound gets infected she is going to have a dead dog. Why do people get animals when they cannot take care of him. It takes a special kind of owner to be able to handle a pit and a careful upbringing to make sure they are well balanced.

The puppy needs to see a vet. Trust me, this happened to me last year and I tried treating it by myself. It didn't work out and I had to pay more at a vet later.

So- an intro to driving a manual transmission:

push in the clutch and the brake and start the car

put the car in R and let the brake out

sllllllooooowwwwwllllllyyyyyy release the clutch and the car will start going backward.
when you are out of the parking spot, put the clutch back in and put the car into 1st

SLOWLY release the clutch while simultaneously pushing slightly harder on the gas to get the car to go forward

once the car is at 2500 to 3000 rpms, push the clutch in quickly and throw the car into 2nd and repeat with releasing clutch and pushing on the gas.

do that for 3rd and 4th

if you come to a stop light, push the clutch in and down shift in chronological order until you are back at 1.

try to avoid stopping on steep hills.

if anyone honks at you, roll down the window and lift your middle finger at them.

Well, don't being up the other minor accidents, first of all. Second, tell him, "There is a MAJOR EMERGENCY and oh-my-gosh, you really can't talk about it right now, but you HAVE to drive his car. IT IS THE ONLY WAY, SWEETHEART!" Start crying. He'll let you go

Do you feel comfortable driving with a puppy in a car you don't know how to drive and have had accidents in? I don't think it's a good idea especially since you're just driving it back to your house and not the vet. Wait for your bf to get home and go over there safely.
