Naming Your Dog

kind of a cool site, if you're stuck for a name....

So...neither of my dogs names are on there.

So, um, if the website doesn't work for you...I might be a good second choice. lol.

Naming is fun IMO

I have named theme litters for friends and also gotten paid to do full registered names http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Now that sounds like a GREAT job IMO....naming dogs is one the best parts..... I love doing that! My husband on the other hand does not like some of my names, but thats ok, because the dogs do, and it always seems to fit them no moatter what they have!

We have a theme going on in the house right now. All reptiles are named after alcoholic drinks, arachnids with the number 8 and all mammals with a name starting with B. For example:

G. aureostriata tarantula-8ball
Crested Gecko-Zima
APBT-Brogan
Rottweiler-Bryce
Hairless Rat-Boomer

That's clever, I love it! Our pit pup was adopted with the name Star already, we were thinking of changing it because we aren't too found but she is already used to it and her green eyes are deff bright little stars against her fawn brindle coat!

Lol, I just went to Baby Names at BabyNames.com | Baby Boy Names | Baby Girl Names | Top Most Popular Names to find a name for Umah and for Abel (RIP).

Hobie got his name cause I was thinking of naming him Hobo and then my little brother said Hobie....It fits.

Red was named after my car...and it just fit her personality. Probably the plainest named dog I've ever owned. It was a joint decision between me and the ex....I shoulda just named her what I wanted.

Judge was originally named Ocyrus shortened to Ozai.....it just didn't fit him....I tried a few other car related names and had almost settled on Panzer when "The Judge" clicked in my head...he was named after the 1969 Pontiac GTO The Judge. It fits his personality.

With the puppy I keep back from him, he'll be named Jury and I have a theme!

Bransen is just a name I liked. The next ones on my list were Henry and Sergio, but neither suited Bransen.

Found out later, Thomas had a friend named Bransen who was stabbed to death a few years ago.
