I've been looking forward to having Nelly and Bubba meet for almost a week... but the rescue says they don't have time this week because of a hoarding situation they are working on right now. I know it isn't their fault, and I do understand... but I so wanted to spend more time with her I also wanted my boy to meet her. Oh well... next week I guess. I did offer to help with the hoarding situation though.

Thanks Zoey.... we are going to take her once we move and Bubba gets settled a little... we (my fiance and I) love her! Even if we end up having to do crate and rotate the whole time with them it's worth it. Though I don't think we will, I think Bubba will adore her.

I agree with ZoeyBear I hope all works out. Yes, rescues can get really busy with that kinda situation so just be patient.

Before I got Lily, someone adopted her first. I was very upset for multiple reasons. Then I get a call the next day that they brought her back because she was deaf. Well she wasn't deaf, but she was mine! And she's been with me ever since.
Good luck with her! All good things come to those who wait.

I keep looking at pictures of her I am going to help the rescue out tomorrow with the hoarding situation. I have never done that, should be interesting and sad.

I hate having to hurry up and wait, but in the end it will work out... If anything maybe the suspense will make that moment even more happy because you waited for it so long! Good luck to introducing them together and taking her home... She's a cutie! Look at those ears!

That sucks for the both of you, you perdonally and the rescue. It is super awesome of you to voluteener to help out. I wish more people would help out with certain cases.

I helped out with the hoarding situation... wow! So many dogs... poor babies. ALOT of them were Pit Bull... or Pit Bull mixes. The rescue is trying hard to find them all homes... they only have til the end of the month to home all the dogs... good news is there only about 50 left... there were about 150!!
