Actually, when a federal offense is being made, it is everyone's business. Dog fighting is illegal in the United States, and I believe that facebook is a US-based company.

it may be - but my son uses facebook and if he had come across that video - id be one ticked off mother.. not to mention what they are doing to the dogs/PUPPIES! they made it public - if it was just theirs and not ours - they wouldnt have posted it..

I reported what videos I could stand to watch and then the group as a whole.. that was making me sick to watch... I cant believe some people

These people asked me (and another friend of mine, who saw their friend's request first since I'm not a big Facebook-er) to be their "friend" from a Pit Bull Lover's group. Naturally, if someone I don't know requests me to be associated in ANY way with them, I will see what I can to try to determine if it's someone I would want to be associated with. The internet is a potential client's FIRST tool to see what I'm all about, to determine whether they want me to be their dog trainer. If they look me up, and see an affiliation with a Turkish dog fighter, what may that say about my character?

My clients are typically educated enough to know the difference between history and present.

What I really don't like is they continue to let the dogs go after they've obviously proved gameness. Why continue and risk the dog being so severely mauled it won't make it?

The dog still crossing the scratch line, with one, maybe two broken legs, and still continuing to try to get his opponent proves what he's made of, allowing the other dog to keep mauling him while he has little chance to truly fight back was pointless.

I would check your research. If you were in their position, would you allow your dog that's already gotten its face ripped off and has broken legs to still go blindly into the jaws of an unscathed dog?

It looked to me like they were in the process of picking every dog up after the scratch. It is against the rules for the handler to leave the corner and follow the dog over. So that tells me they were in the process of picking up. It is also legal in Turkey. So they are also law abiding citizens. A saw a few game dogs in the videos. It didn't bother me any. Better then seeing them stand the line. I would still recommend most of you getting a beagle or something.
