yawn on command
hi all
i was wondering if any of you have seen this before. Bella yawns when i say OPEN and touch her lower jaw. its kinda cool and strange at the same time. she starts with opening her mouth but gets into a full yawn with tongue stretched out and stuff. Its funny and i will soon put a video of that on too. Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen such a trick/behavior |

All of mine do it, and my old schnauzer and bulldog... Yawning is also something they do when stressed, to relieve themselves.
Not sure why they do it. |
Our old Shar-Pei when I was growing up would do something like that - if you sneezed he would sneeze...you'd start fake sneezing to see if he'd keep it up and he would.

I can't remember where I read it, ( maybe i read it and maybe I dreamed ithttp://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/lol.gif), but I think they yawn sometimes out of uncertainty.
I know if I have scolded my dogs for anything, they immediatly start yawning and looking away. |

Gizzmo, when you give him a bath, I can say "shake Gizzmo, shake" and he shakes the water off of himself. He will do it when he's dry too. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/tongue.png |
