She caught a mouse!
 

So Val (a.k.a. Violet), the APBT mix, is the office dog at the animal control shelter. To say the least they have a mouse problem. I was uploading pictures a few minutes ago when I turn around and look at Val and she has a mouse in her mouth! My reaction was to go "Ah" because that's not what I was expecting so she dropped the mouse and it crawled a few feet and died. She was so quiet when she caught it I had no idea what was going on!

She walked around with her chest puffed out for 10 minutes after that and every time she hears a mouse, she basically points at it (minus the foot). Those are the best pics we've been able to get of her. She usually looks all gloomy and sad. LOL

She is gorgeous... wish my dog and cat would catch the varment in my house.... but instead Cruz just growls when he smells it.

She is freaking adorable!!

Lily catches mice out in the pasture all the time. Its hilarious to see her bouncing across the snow after them.

She is adorable! I love how you just had to say "Ah" and she spit it out. What a good girl!

LOL She is very responsive to verbal correction (tone of voice). Later on I was doing the same thing to keep her from eating the cats (which were safe in cages) and fixating on the door (dog on the other side).http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Pongo (JRT mix) would love to come help you. He would tear the place apart until every last one of the little pest were gone. He is a super serious ratter. He gets so excited that I sometimes think he is going to kill over on me with his age now! All you have to go is say go find Mickey and he is off searching!
