Default Keep warm tonight guys.
Not sure if this is the right section for this but everyone remember to take extra care of any outside dogs you have.
I know here in W. NC its already 20 degrees with a wind chill of 8 degrees. needless to say my outside dog has got his doghouse slam full of straw and got an extra helping of hot food.

Stay safe and warm!

hmmm, 20 degrees... well here it is like 0 degrees! Lucky my dog can be an inside dog! I swear after he pooped earlier i saw the moisture in it freeze before my eyes! Im also thankful my pup isnt too finicky to go outside to relieve himself. Ive read about other people having problems getting their dogs to go outside. Im a bigger wuss about the cold than he is!

My one male (he is actually my brothers dog) is outside and I hate it. But with Samson inside I can't risk bringing him in, plus the fact he will pee on EVERYTHING.
Nala (the puppy) is coming in though....
For Deisel like I said I made sure he has extra straw in his house and he got extra food. When it gets this cold I always make gravy for their food and add rice and noodle for some extra starches.
Thankfully its not raining or snowing with the temperature this low or I would have to find someway to get him inside. I defiantly wouldn't want him getting wet at this temp.

It's in the low 20's here... all 7 of my dogs are inside, everyone is crated, except Mollie and Bella, who get to sleep in bed, Mollie under the covers, Bella on top of the covers.

It was in the 30's here last night in west florida. Both the dogs were sleeping in the bed all snuggled up and nearly pushed me off the bed to get comfy and warm.

All my outside dogs did well. Checked on them around 11pm, and they all felt nice and warm.

Good thread and a reminder for all that have outside dogs. Please make sure they are warm and if it's too cold, bring them inside.

They said it was suppose to freeze here last night (central FL), but I'm not sure it did, plants look ok this morning though I did cover my favorites. The temp around 35 at 3 am, so pretty close, may have been colder at a different time!

My roommate and I divided the dogs. She took 5 and I took 5. We stayed nice and warm! If it dips any colder, I am tempted to go grab my neighbors Redbone hound. He has to stay outside and I don't think the shelter is warm enough. If he wouldn't pee in my house, I wouldn't mind him coming over at night. The lady that lives there is allergic, her son took the other dogs, but LJ got left b/c he is too old to hunt anymore.
