I have an inside pit and it is pretty cold out now and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with sizes of human sweaters that would fit a larger pit?

I like the human fleece vest, especially if they have a drawstring waist. You can put them on backwards and zip them down there back.

I would say probably a man's medium would fit depending on the dog. My Amstaff can wear a medium and she is 70lbs. My Dogo is 120lbs and he wears a XL.

You can always check the children's section also. For my smaller dogs, that is what I do.

I bought some sweaters at PetCo, PetSmart, and Old Navy also has some dog sweaters

Like Jeo said, you can look in the childrens section for some. But check your local pet stores and if you have an Old Navy, check with them. Also, you can shop Old Navy online and order from their pet section.

My dogs main puffy vest is a kids XL and just tailored for the barrel to stomach area.

Lugz is a little on the chunky side right now at 60 lbs. I picked up 3T or 4T toddler sizes for him at the local thrift store and they fit him fine.

Yeah I have heard old navy has them. If you have a farm and fleet, walmart or big lots where you live, you might find doggie sweaters for $5. Trouble is finding the larger sizes for our big guys!
