I'm thinking we all might be better off if the "handler" were put down.

I only watched the first 2 minutes, but...

that dog was going to get a hold on the boar hog, and wasn't going for the handler. Furthermore that is an emotionally charged situation, and they are hunting in close quarters with knives. No need to put a good dog down...

Why?

Not the dog's fault. Colby is right, shit happens. When you go out into the woods, expect to get hurt.

pretty much the same way i feel

but i got a question why the hell are they using a stun gun instead of a break stick?

oh and if your going to hunt hogs with dogs you need to invest in cut vests

Dog wasn't at fault IMO. Handler error. You never grab the hog until the dogs have a good hold!

So, what happened to the dog? They didn't mention of euthanising him, right? Yeah, shit happens. I got worse injuries when playing basketball than that dog bite. It's an accidental bite.

Agreed!

I only got through the first 55 seconds of it, after I got tired of seeing "You might get bit by the pit bulls" flashing across the screen

Egotistical morons have stupid things happen to them.. what does the dog have to do with anything?

Why? because he was hunting with dogs? I have no issues with what they were doing as long as they EAT what they KILL. If these dogs didn't get that hog, some other predator would have and most likely in a simular fashion.

The bite was not intentional, the handler got in the way....shit happens.
Agreed with ColbyDogs, handler error, and in a highly reactive situation.NOT the dogs fault.

yes, I fully agree that the world is full of stupid, egotistical morons .These guys are not any form of exception, and may end up being a statistic, one of these days, but hunting with dogs has been going on since the first domesticated dogs were birthed. Its an ancient and ongoing part of the intertwined journey between man and dog.

Not the dog's fault at all.. just a redirect situation.. I've been bitten by accident using a break stick before ANYTIME you stick your hands near an agitated dog's mouth you run the risk of a bite
