puppy name

I have a 7 week old gray and white male pitbull puppy. I can't think of a name for him for nothing. I'm a big x-man fan so i though i would call him Ice man or Colossus, do any one have any suggestion.

I heard dogs respond best to two syllable names with a vowel on the end. Anyone else ever here that?

I've heard about the 2 syllables part but not the ending in a vowel

I like Ace, or even Ice.. like Ice Man... I haven't watched any of the XMen except for the first one.. so I'm not good with any of the characters names... but you could name him Jack for Hugh Jackman.. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/tongue.png

How about ''Huge Ackman''?

gambleingsites 01-11-2009 05:15 AM

I'm think that i'm leaning toward ice man .Brother want me to call him blue, but he's not blue he's gray. Why do everone want to name a blue pit blue

AccusaJalsBub 01-11-2009 05:21 AM

When I was a kid we had a cat who had a litter and one was mostly white with gray areas and my sister named it (her) MOP. Like a white mop with some dirt on it.

gogona 01-11-2009 05:45 AM

I think he looks like a SToRm.

BinasiDombrs 01-11-2009 05:47 AM

colussus i think would be good, if expect him to get kinda big.

clubcughSheet 01-11-2009 06:47 AM

First thing that came to mind for me after looking at his adorable face was Cyclopse!!!

And I heard about the 2 syllable thing with the vowel at the end, Actually I heard two or three is best simply becasue people like to use one syllable names like spot and king, but those resemble short one word commands, which is why they say 2 or 3 syllables are best - but that doesn't mean that you can have a longer name with a nickname.

I'm sure whatever you choose will fit him just fine!
