Do you think that this is a normal size for her age? I love how she still looks like a little puppy though! She is the perfect height for the kids, but I was just wondering when the normal growth spurts happen..etc. Like I said previously she is roughly 40 pounds and about a foot to a foot and a half tall. She is 8 1/2 months old now. Let me know what you think!
Thanks, Kyle and Heidi |

Aww, she's cute AND tiny! My favourite type!
With a big ol' head like that, maybe she's got some EB back in there... AB, boxer... realistically, her parents are probably mixed breeds so she would be a mixture of a mixture... either way, she's insanely cute! At her age and that weight, I would speculate that she might fill out more but not get really taller... she might top out of 45-ish unless she has heavy bully type in her background then she could get 50ish. |

This is Grace sleeping in the truck...she loves to go Bye-Bye This is Grace being used as a pillow by our little girl Madysen. They are best friends. Another lazy day on the couch for Grace! Baby Grace was not tall enough to drink out of the toilet so she used the potty chair to reach. The dogs always have fresh water, but will sit and beg for a drink out of the toilet. This is baby Grace on her first drive home to live with us. All the way from Tennessee to Missouri in one day. We adopted Grace from a rescue foundation in Tennessee. All they told us about her breed is that she is a pit-bull. Our vet told us that she is a AST. We are not sure. Does anyone have any opinions? We would really appreciate the comments! Thank you!!! |

Uh....what is a "pit" and what is an "American". Well, I am an "American", but I am not a dog.
Your dog is cute. However, there is absolutely no way to know what kind of dog she is. The only way to know what kind of dog you have is to but/obtain a dog from an honest and knowledgable owner/breeder who kept accurate pedigrees on his/her dogs. Sure, your dog might look similar to many different breeds, but it doesn't make it one of them. ![]() |

I think the rescue got it right, a "pit bull." Which is not a breed but could be any (or any combination of, in my limited understnding) APBT, American Bulldog, American Staff., even Dogo Argentina (someone correct me if I'm wrong about that...) Anyway a darling little "bully" puppy for dang sure!! ![]() Thank you for rescuing (and also for sharing pics!!) ![]() |
