Trying to find the best title for the book - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Hi All!

I'm not sure how many of you have read my sticky about a book I'm putting together. If you haven't and are interested, here's the link http://www.pitbull-chat.com/showthread.php?t=30299

The book is a collection of true, short stories about pit bulls designed to show people the side of pit bulls that we get to see but others may not. I have waited to decide on a title because I didn't want everyone to have to form their stories to the title, but to form the title around the stories.

Here are some suggestions I've received. (I'm not sure if the poll option will work so here are the suggestions just in case)

"Close Encounters of a Special Kind"

"Changing the Channel: the truth that doesn't make headlines"

"Pet Bulls: out of the pits and into our lives (into our hearts?)"

"Pit Bulls and Their People: A Collection of Stories"

"A Love Affair with Pit Bulls: True Stories from Real People"

"Pit Bull Pride: The Other Side of the Story"

"The Secret Life of Pit Bulls"

"Believe in Me: Stories of real Pitbulls"

I know it sounds cheesy but I was thinking maybe "Love-A-Bull ... Things that make owners love their Pit Bulls" I feel the title is inviting and non-offensive.
If the book is successful then it could turn into a series and one specializing in rescues could be called "Adopt-A-Bull" etc.

What do you guys think?
... I need to decide on title soon so I can start working on the cover.

I have read through the large amount of story submissions and even though the topics are very different, one thing remains the same, each author's love for their dog. So, I have decided to go with the most fitting suggestion. "A Love Affair with Pit Bulls: True Stories from Real People".

NNNOOOOOOO!!!!!! LOL DONT DO IT!!!! change the channel was the best one because it subliminally made POSITIVE sense. im sorry but the love affair struck me a kinda corny!! but on the upside can i post a story in there?

OH! Are you wanting a picture with the story?

And where are you planning to sell the books? I could always talk to my manager about getting them into our stores, we're very pit bull friendly and I know I want a copy!

Pictures are definitely welcome with each submission!

As for where they'll be available for purchase, at this point I know they will be available online but it's up to the individual store as to whether they carry them. When they are in print, I'll let you know more.

Wow, you have a lot of great options there. My two favorites are "Changing the Cannel...", and "Believe in Me..."

I too am working on a story about my dog Kane. Almost completely written out already, lying on my bedroom floor.

But after writing it, I found it boring and am considering re-writing a whole new story about him. That dog was anything but boring!
