I believe buckskin dogs have a black nose.. but I could be wrong.

I would call her red, or red fawn. Or fawn. lol

So... what is the difference between fawn and buckskin?

I always thought that fawn was a red based color.. so the red nose would make since. I thought buckskin had a black nose and for the most part, a black mask.

I'd say Buckskin.. I've always thought Mollie was closer to buckskin than to fawn... but really, I just say she's red. At least that's what color the little hairs all over my clothes seems to be.

It seems like a simple question, but I've found it to be very confusing myself. I don't even really know what color my dog is! (red? light red? fawn? GAH!)

I thought buckskin had a black nose and mask?

If you're talking about the dog in your avatar, that's not blue fawn
If you're talking about another dog you have, ignore that! lol

I've been told that fawn has red tones and buckskin has yellow tones...they can both have black ticking.

I'd call her light fawn.
