Default Well, I officially just got a puppy and I am SUPER excited :)
Well, after making a TON of wrong decisions. I have finally gotten a dog, well in 8 weeks I will have one . I now know the difference between an APBT, and an Ambully and Amstaff. Well Amstaff and Ambully are hard to tell the difference between but you know that I mean .

Anywho, I was going to get a pup from workingclasshero. But he is not sure if his breeding has went through and he told me about a friend who just had a litter. And btw Joe or Danielle (sorry if I got the names wrong) she was shocked when I called her because she didn't tell anyone but you two about the puppies but when I told her how I heard about it she knew.

So anywho, she breeds very rarely. They are very seriously into weightpulling which is awesome. And she said she will probably not breed for the next 3 years or so. She is very nice and very knowledgeable. And no, there is no health testing. But I trust her (I know I might get flamed for that but I really do )...

The dogs have some bully bloodlines in them but are very well put together dogs, the father is a champion in weight pulling.

I did say that I wanted to get into shows at one point, but realistically, with a 19 month old daughter, a 1 year old Pug and a 9 month old APBT, thats probably not going to happen, but I will keep in touch with them and will be doing weight pulling with them in a few years.

Here are some pictures, not the best but they will do. Pedigree is also included.

I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to help me lately, I really appreciate it and am glad I did not end up with those other monstrosities I was looking at ;-)

Oh and PS, I didn't get ripped off like I would have before with that guy in MD, the pups are $400 and will be UKC and APBA registered, she said I can register them with ADBA if I would like but I am not sure about that???

Hope this pre works, the parents are already online....But she made one for the pups at sitstay.com I believe...

And here are the pictures....

It was hard for her to get pictures of the puppies because the mother didn't want them taken away from her so I told her we could wait a few weeks. The mother is 45lbs and the father is around the same.

Mommy and babies

I guess this was shortly before she got pregnant

This is the daddy

I just found the father's ped!

No.. actually, I don't.. given that the parents you pictured look like heavy set Amstaffs.

Regardless, I am glad you found somebody you trust and are learning.. just keep on learning, though

they definetely look more on the am staff side of a bully than the bully side of the bully. i like the look of some bullies and i think those dogs look pretty good to me.

What I mean is, I cannot tell the difference 100% between Amstaff and Ambully. Other than the weight and gigantic bodies. So when I think to myself, hey thats an Ambully, it very well might as be Amstaff

I think they would be classified as Ambully because of the bloodlines, not sure if I am correct though

Again, if that is what you were looking for, all is good
However, I personally can't quite follow your impression that AmBullies and AmStaffs look the same/similar... unless you are ignoring registry completely and are saying: if I met an AmStaff, not knowing what it was, I might think it's an AmBullie.. if I saw an AmBully, I might think it's an AmStaff. Given the almost 99% chance of an AmBully being an APBT (or mix thereof), however..it's still difficult for me to follow.
I apologize for this irking me a bit.. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't saying: AmStaffs look like AmBullies and APBT's look completely different. It's a commonly used insult from the "APBT purists".

No I wasn't saying that at all . I am saying that, without knowing registries and such. Like the parents of the dog I am getting, its Ambully but because its not massive it could be Amstaff. Just going on looks alone. I don't know as much as you guys about that kinda stuff, nor do I know much about pedigrees . Sorry if I typed that earlier to be misunderstanding
