My dear proper training to puppies from the beginning is must; treat your puppy like a small human child. Do not be harsh for teaching anything to your dog otherwise he will become violent. Give him reward for obeying you so he will repeat the same action again.

See, young puppies are like small child. You must be soft spoken with him, do not punish him for bad behavior instead encourages him for good behavior by giving him his favorite toy or food if he obeys your instruction.

Its true many dogs are very well behaved and obey their owners too, but you know they are well trained from the initial age, so i advised you hire a dog trainer instead of your own experiment on your dog.

It’s not necessary to hire a dog trainer to train your puppy, you are telling your puppy is small so it’s right age you can start his training. Give him instruction and wait for his response, if he accepts your instruction give him reward if not them ask him again.

Yes if you have enough time you can train your puppy by yourself otherwise it is better to hire a good dog trainer for your puppy. Do not take risk; once he will grow it will be hard to give him training.
