She looks fine. Not fat but not as toned as she could be. She could probably stand to lose a few lbs but I wouldn't call her fat.

Depends on what you like. I wouldn't go as far and say she isn't fit. I personally like my dogs to have hips LOL.

Thanks, with all of the contradicting views I've seen on exercise, we've pretty much been sticking with 20-30 minute walks 2x daily and fun with the flirt pole once daily. Is that too much? Too little?

There is a huge difference between a dog that could stand to lose a few lbs and a dog who just needs more exercise with no change in diet.

You're dog could use more exercise with no change in diet if you're looking for a more muscular dog. Making your dog lose weight will not make her more "in shape" or more "muscular" it will only make her skinnier judging by how she looks now because she is NOT fat, just isn't "muscular".

As my vet would say "she's not fat, but she doesn't need to gain any more"

To me, she looks a little chunky, a bit more exercise will tighten things up and she'll look better.
But I'm comparing her to Frankie, who is 10 1/2 months and has always been lean.

I think she is a good size but needs to tone up, her being 11 months old say she could start working out a bit more, I wouldn't change her diet though she is not fat just not tone

I think she's chubby.. but I agree with those who have said she doesn't need a change in diet, she just needs more exercise

She doesn't need to lose any weight. Actually, she's a good body condition to work with for toning her up. But she's still a little young for serious workouts. Give her some good handwalking and fetch and get her a flirt pole.

I don't think she's fat exactly, but she could lose a little. She's pretty!
