Default Logan graduated to a chain spot today
normally I have Logan in a kennel and Goren in the yard, well while I was cleaning the yard I was letting Logan and Goren play, Goren and Logan both free in the fenced in yard with access to the porch(which I should have closed...I kick myself because I didn't) that has about a 3 and a half foot maybe tall railing...well next thing I know Logan hops the railing...

I am beyond lucky, it was right when my hubby was putting stuff in the car to take the baby to her grandparents since I have to do stuff tomorrow and can't have her with me (taking Goren to get his meat from mypetcarnivore and don't want her in the car with him since she is still young and there really isn't room for both of them) anyhow he runs to the hubby so yea donno but now he is on Goren's chain and Goren is in his kennel (its just to hot right now to set up the chainspot I have for him in his kennel so that will wait)...

on a somewhat happy note Goren had no intention of going after him, I am really wondering if he is having hip problems, on our walks his gait just seems off, not like in pain, no favoring, just not exactly right...

anyhow I will be adding hight to the porch this weekend and until then Logan is on puppy lock down and not aloud off the chain unless he is being taken in the house, I am not even ganna trust him in his kennel because I know he can vertical 2 times as high as Goren can so who knows if he would get the extra foot or two to clear his kennel. I just wish Goren's chain was not so bloody heavy, the only place I could get chain for reasonable prices didn't have what I wanted in when I got it (maybe I will get another set up here soon with more reasonable weighted chain) so I think the entire length is close to 60 lbs its about 15-20 foot of chain I think though.

I was hoping I would get the money the hospital owes me back before this because I have been planning on doing this for months gah stupid dog.

well i hope he cant reach the fence you got by that chain.. btw you can cut that chain. its not heavy if you arent using 20ft of it. in which it should still only weight around 1lb per foot unless yer using huge grade 70.

I forget the grade but its not like giant stuff, I think it might way 1.5lbs a foot or something, just feels like a ton. The metal its made out of isn't the best as I recall when I was making the chainspot, how the chain is set up where it reaches the fence it cant go over the fence, like if you hold it up taunt he can't stretch out and go over the fence so yea he can't hang himself or anything (he can catch himself on a stupid pipe which I have to keep watching out the window to make sure he doesn't, Goren learned how to untangle himself fast I donno how Logan will do)

Hope Logan doesn't figure out he can slip out of his collar or get tangled.

On a side note I'm still having a hard time figuring out how Logan jumped the rail into Goren's pin.

like I said, they were both loose in the yard while I was cleaning the kennel and yard so he did not jump the rail into Goren's pin his was open, his collar is actually on thight because since he did jump the fence he "knows how" so to speak, I am watching him through the window and checking on him to make sure he isn't getting hooked on the pipe, there are no weeds grown up to get tangled up in right now since we have had no rain so I know the only thing he can get hung on is the stupid pipe (he is currently sitting in the shade on the porch steps)
