Default PUblishing Science Paper on a Blog
and yes, I have read the entire article and understand his reasons, both for and against, in his particular case.

The general question is ... is science publishing as "broken" as I have been reading that it is for the last few months ... would any of you real scientists consider alternate publishing routes?

It begins ...

"Yesterday, I posted an original scientific paper here on my blog. The obvious question is, “Why is it on the blog instead of in a peer-reviewed journal?”

is science publishing as "broken" as I have been reading that it is for the last few months totally broken..

The Universities can only teach "text-book"
Go outside the text-book, and the examiners are in a mine field......
The same happens on this and other science forums...

look in the mirror, if you don't see what I see...you fail, stupid !!!

Thanks for helping to steer it back to the OP.

I'd still be keen to have some indication from people in the publishing cycle comment too, please.
