*twitch*

Why must children just randomly scream??
Didn't you used to be one? Why did you use to do it?

I didn't... I was of the "children should be seen and not heard" generation...

There you go, answered your own question:

These children are of the seen and very much heard generation.

Personally, I blame the government...

But it's just _screaming_ - it's not laughing screaming, or the "help, i'm in trouble" screaming...

it's just _noise_ for the sake of making _noise_

Maybe they're the ones who haven't been vaccinated with the mind control nanobots...

If they're playing and having fun, well, let 'em scream. There's worse sounds in the world than kids having fun.

There's plenty of time later in life for keeping your mouth shut when you'd rather not.

Oh hey Topher. I was thinking about you yesterday when I was pondering the long-term forecast for summer.

Hope you've been well.

I hope it's a dry summer. I'd hate to be on a ship in the Sth Pacific with cyclones around!

You'd have to pretty unlucky to get hit by a cyclone. They are normally forecast a few days out, and cruise ships are pretty stable anyway.

If unlucky why waste money on a ticket?

I was asking here a week or so ago about removing passenger bucket seat from my VW van, and boppa (I think? Maybe Bogsnorkler?) mentioned possible rego complications.

Had a yarn to VW people today and that was good advice.

They agreed it was not complicated to do, but indicated it wouldn't be something they'd advise coz of seat belt / air bag / electronics connections and possible injury / insurance etc liabilities.

So thanks all.

All good learning.

You have to be in it to win it, and luck can change at any time

They should have some mixed events in the olympics - like a mixed swimming or running relay.
