Is this the point on the internet where someone says "First!"?

On Slashdot it's usually "First Post" (and variants)

Here it's usually "Me"

But does that work when there's already a first comment on the new thread?

I'm still experiencing the month of June. Do I post in the June chat thread or in this one?

Ooo...an upgrade! Yes, please

I keep trying to pretend it is winter, so why not pretend it is a different month?

Neat stuff.

Yep

Anyway, off to get ready for the day. It's warming up, mr kii is out killing bugs, Daisy and I are safe inside with the kittehs and I have clothes to fold and coffee to drink and fluff to vacuum up.

Goodnight, Australia.

It's been many years since they were actually officially called 'group certificates'. It's been a PAYG Payment Summary for a whlie now.

In theory, I could work out my earnings and tax manually by myself today, but it's much easier to wait til someone else gives me the summary It would be even better if July 1 fell on a Monday- just take the numbers from my pay slip then.

Watching a TV show on the manufacture of samurai swords. There I was thinking the iconic shape of the sword was a deliberate design implementation, turns out is is a result of the manufacturing process. Straight sword goes in, curved sword comes out.

Because of the way the dates fell this year, I gave my staff their PAYG Payment Summaries with their payslips on Thursday this week gone. However, the employer does not have to have them to you until 14th July. (I think. There is something about 14th August too, but I think that is the Summary of the Summaries that I have to send to the Tax Office. I always do them as soon as possible to get that stuff out of the way before the bank statements come in because then I have to do the monthly reconciliation, the annual reconciliation and get all the stuff off to the accountant pronto. When they owe me, I get my tax and the company tax done ASAP.)

Yeah, i'm pretty sure it has to be within 2 weeks of the end of the financial year.
