Got a pied wagtail visiting my patio every day for a feed now, especially in the snow. It hangs around for hours.

Not my photo, just one to show you what they look like

I saw a Kite in my garden earlier. I get a lot of birds in my garden becuase our garden backs out onto woodland. Tits, Jays, Magpies, Robins, pidgeons and sometimes woodpeckers.

High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. We have many Kites here due to the reintroductions in the Chilterns in the early 90s.

Default My Tiny Garden - Birds
Yes, I have only got a little patio but I've put a bird feeder on my window and put meal worms and seeds on the patio. Well after a couple of weeks I've got visitors - a pair of magpies!

(not my picture but this is what they look like)

Magpies are a beautiful bird but they do have one problem. They are the nosiest bird on the planet and will sit right below your bedroom window to let you know they are there. Once you're awake they leave for the next yard.

You want to hear Jays or Green Woodpeckers!! They live round the corner. This is the fustrating thing - I live literally round the corner from the town park which is abundant with loads of different birds but I have to be patient and wait for them to twig my feeders out.
