Default Use Soft Drinks To Kill Mice and Rats
Im gonna have to remember this if I ever see one of those nasty rodents lingering around!

Check it out: How To Use Soft Drinks To Kill Mice and Rats | eHow.com

Mice and rats lack the ability to burp. You can use this to your advantage - and the demise of the rats and mice.

Pour pepsi or coke into a shallow dish.

Place dish near where the mice or rats are entering/exiting your home frequently.

The rodents will drink the sweet soft drink and later, when they can't burp, they will die.

I'd rather be drinking it instead.

However, I'll keep this in mind if my family gets any more of those pesky mice downstairs again, thanks for the info!

It may get rid of the mice (doubts the claim of the article) but think of all the ants it will attract.

Hmmm...my pet rat used to drink cider which was fizzy and it never done it any harm. Not sure about this. I'll have to ask my sister in law, she's a rat breeder and should know.

I could do without rodents, but its easier just to bate themwith peanut butter into a nice mouse trap, it also makes it easy to clean up. Ive only had to deal with one mouse like ever, thankfully ^^

Why would not being able to burp kill them? Wouldn't their system just absorb the carbonation? Or would they be choking? Not convinced yet, but I've been having some problems with sneaky mice, mice that can lick peanut butter right off a conventional trap and not set it off. I guess you'd have to be changing the soda on a regular basis to keep the fizz.

Really? how comes many people feed their dogs chocolate dog treats, available in most pet shops then?
that is because it isn't chocolate at all .. it's carob

I make homemade dog treats, that's what you use .. not chocolate. The cacao bean (which is what chocolate is made of) contains theobromine .. it's what makes chocolate so toxic for them.

I much prefer rat poison. can't seem to find the poison around my area... animal activists say poison is bad for them... and glue traps where they starve to death isn't apparently.

Rats have two things very similar to humans:

Nervous system (including brains, neuro transmitters etc.)

And intestines.

yes but chocoalte can also kill dogs in very small amounts, and it takes a lot more to do us in, a little would more than likely kill a rat, but it is in the bounds of possibility that shit loads more would kill us, lol
