Ray Lewis.

Well, ESPN actually, for even leading Ray Lewis into a discussion about how Steve McNair was mistreated in Tennessee because of race.

Lewis brought up how Favre and Manning wouldn't have been treated like that.

Um, let me check...no, McNair is no Favre or Manning, even with how much I hate those two overrated pukes.

Now, let me pick a suitable comparison.

Drew Bledsoe.

Drew Bledsoe was treated like crap in NE. McNair was treated essentially the same. So eat that you morons. Start comparing apples to freaking apples, you overgrown nitwit douchebags.

Everything to atheletes in football and basketball is racist.

The dress code and the fact that you can't argue with the refs was racist to according to most players. And the tights under the basketball shorts. Racist

I love how he said: "Not to play the race card, but that wouldn't happen to Favre or a Manning." Or, something to that effect.

That would be like me saying: "Not to be an ass, but..." during any conversation.

OK, my rhetoric was a little strong. Manning is top dog right now, Favre was about 10 years ago.

Now, McNair did win a Co-MVP one year, with Manning. But compared to Bledsoe's numbers in some years, McNair's numbers looked, well, eh. He was 7th in TDs, and led the league in Yards per pass attempt in his Co-MVP year. Wow, that's awesome.

Of course, I could then make the Limbaugh-esque line that the writers dropped the bar to give McNair the Co-MVP in 2003 based on race, but I don't want to go there. (Does that sound familiar, Ray "I don't want to make this about race" Lewis?)

So...you wouldn't put Mcnabb in the same class as Manning?

I wouldn't.

The only thing McNabb has on Manning is a SB loss imo

Frankly, neither one has won it all yet.

Neither did Marino.

BTW, I would take all of said QB's in Chicago in a heartbeat

In what aspect?

Talent wise?

Hard to say.

They are different style players.

I think Manning is better.

When you make a list of the top QB's playing right NOW...you include Manning but not Mcnabb?

Similar numbers....Wayne and Harrison.....Brown and Baskett. I think its silly to say that Manning is far better than Mcnabb. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Far better running and athletic ability. I'd say Mcnabb has the best deep throw in the game right now. Manning (and other QB's at the Pro Bowl) also said this.

That would be interesting to see. Give the colts Brown and Baskett (or Lewis, w/e) and give the eagles wayne and harrison.

Like I said, I would take both QB's in a heartbeat in Chicago.

I like Manning slightly better but McNabb can definatly run better

Are you fucking kidding me?

I swear some of you guys are insane.

Where did I say i made a list of top qb's from right NOW and McNabb was not on it?

You are silly.

I never said Manning is far better

I said my opinion is he is better.

Not far better though.

McNabb also has Westbrook and Manning has Rhodes if we want to compare players

A little edgy tonight are we? The original question was whether you would put Mcnabb in the same league as Manning. You said you wouldnt. That would imply that its not even close.

And for the record...when a sentence ends with a "?" it means I'm asking you a question. So a simple yes or no would have answered it a lot better than....

"Are you fucking kidding me?

Ima not edgy in the least bit

It seems you were having a hard time following along though.

I have enough words that i dont need you putting words in my mouth

I didnt say they were light years apart

I said I think Manning is better.

Ima having no problem following along. I'd have to say that asking a question isn't putting words in anybody's mouth though.
