The Rams at #12? Not bad. I figured they'd be around #10 and maybe if people had a little more faith in them they'd be more highly ranked.

Oh, but they barely beat the #29 ranked team

The Pack should easily be at 25

Most of it has to do with close victories to pretty crappy teams along with a loss to the 49ers. The Rams could certainly prove to be better than the #12 rank. But if not, that still gets them in the playoffs.

Yeah. Well I mean the Steelers still have a lot of potential. 2 wins in a row and suddenly everyone will be talking about them again.

Its so funny how great the Packers played the Eagles the first half, but we are a crappy team and the Eagles are #2.

Its a good thing you aren't a NFL writer....

It's so funny that football games consist of two halves and that the Packers got totally destroyed in the 2nd half.

Yeah. I've taken kind of the same stance on the Steelers and Giants. I'm starting to think the Steelers might be screwed with how good that division is.

Does it really matter? You are arguing about how shitty your team is not how good. 4th worst or 6th worst. Its a moot point, they still suck

I didn't even look until now, but ESPN has them ranked 29th as well. I guess they are "homers" too. CBS has the Packers 27th. Fox has them 27th.

Eagles are ranked 4th, 5th, and 8th.

Maybe the Eagles are too high. Or maybe those guys are just all afraid of admitting how they really feel about this great team from Philadelphia.

I would say the Eagles are the 2nd best team in the NFC, but I would question rating them above Indy, NE, and maybe the Ravens.

However, I think people should bear in mind this is just one guy's opinion who is doing this for fun.

Heres my take. The only obvious ones for me are the Eagles aren't the 2nd best team in the league and the giants and vikings are way to high as well. Jacksonville and Carolina are better than 15ish. Other than that its pretty solid.
I agree with a few of those adjustments --> I did this a lot quicker than my usual rankings (note the absence of commentary) since I have an exam tomorrow and a take-home exam due Thursday.

Looking at some other rankings, I think nationally the Patriots are getting way too much credit. They're not as good as they were a few years ago and have several major weaknesses. So there is no way I would rank them above the Eagles.

Colts, I can see an argument for, especially with how poor both of their defenses have been (so I can't really invoke the whole "Colts Defense sucks" argument here since the Eagles' defense hasn't been great). But I still wonder -- a near loss to the Titans?

The Ravens offense has started to sputter a bit.

I agree all 3 of those teams are very good though. Maybe I'm not giving them enough credit.
