Default Toughest Places to Play
In the NFL. From SI.com. I think this list is suspect, but here it is anyway:

10. Metrodome (Minnesota)
9. Lincoln Financial (Philadelphia)
8. Lambeau (Green Bay)
7. Soldier Field (Chicago)
6. Heinz Field (Pittsburgh)
5. Qwest Field (Seattle)
4. InvestCo Field (Denver)
3. RCA Dome (Indy)
2. Gillette Stadium (New England)
1. Arrowhead (KC)

If Philadelphia is #9, I expect everyone to stop bitching about playing there. F*ing pussies.

What is the criteria? Does it include team strength? Or just element variables outside of team?

I would say Denver would be the one where I see the biggest adjustments being made.....Fatties suck wind....Fatties don't like to suck wind...Fatties need the wind or your team will suffer....

I believe the criteria was outside influences: fans, weather, atmosphere, etc. Quality of actual teams obviously had little impact, hence there being 3 NFC North cities on the list.

Buffalo and the Black Hole are two that come to mind.

I also think Cincy will soon be in there. They haven't won in so long that now their fans are pretty rabid.

Also, I find it interesting that the Meadowlands isn't on there.

From when I was reading it the other day it seemed it did come into play. For Indy for example they stated how it's the perfect environment for the Colts to play in and stated their home record that last few years (regular season of course).

I'm sure Philly fans are upset at being 9th, and will look to fix that.

Actually, i really don't care one way or the other. I just think it's funny that you always hear coaches and players and other fans bitching and whining about Philadelphia fans and how opposing teams/players are treated in Philly, but we ranked #9.

We need a dome.

Enclose the space.

I think it just goes to show you how skewed that poll really is.

No doubt Philly should be top 2 probably.
