Who do you think is considered a top 10 QB in the league right now and how would you rank the top 10?
Top 10 is tought to decide...but

5. Brett Favre
4. Daunte Culpepper
3. Tom Brady
2. Donovan McNabb
1. Peton Manning

I don't care about wins, only about stats and skills (in my mind). That is why Donovan is higher than Brady, because I think he is a much better player (not winner).

You don't think much of Brady, Sully ??
I have him at #11. Not meant to be a shot at him, I just think the guys on my list are playing better right now.

Gotcha.

I've seen him sparkle, but the jury is still out. If he isn't pressured, he can be deadly accurate. But then, so can a lot of passers out there.

Im only gonna do a top 5

1 - Manning....there isn't anyone who compares right now...he is on a marinoesque pace....
2 - Daunte Culpepper...call me a homer...call me whatever for this...but lets break this down.... still completed over 70% of his passes...the offense wasn't what it used to be...but it still managed to put up points....
3 - Tom Brady... well...they finally lost...but still..Brady just wins games... you can call it "defense" all you want...but a QB still has to produce....
4 - Donovan McNabb...in a put up or shut up year.... he put up...definately a career year.... and he better have...considering his weapons...
5 - Brett Favre.... what is he 50 now?...and still going strong ...i think we will see favre for quite a few more years
Damnitalltohell.

I agree with this.

Not JUST that. Although that's part of it.

I still have this overwhelming urge to shout and rant about Brett's heart and soul and attitude and "presence" and "entertainability-factors" ... yada ya da.

That said. Yep, I agree with you. Damnitalltohell.

Right Now my top ten would be

1) Peyton Manning
2) Donovan Mcnabb
3) Daunte Culpepper
4) Brett Farve
5) Tom Brady
6) Drew brees
7) Trent Green
8) Jake Plummer
9) Mark Bulger
10 ) David Carr

I exclude Griese because he may have turned the Bucs around but lemme see him do it for a few more weeks before I am convinced

I exclude Roethlisberger because i can't spell his name. Seriously Though I exclude him because while his team has been winning it's been more about him not losing the game than him winning it (with a few exceptions) He's played efficient and remarkable rookie season but regardless he's had a few sub par games the Steelers dominant defense has prevented teams from getting ahead and putting pressure real pressure on him. I might have him on the list by seasons end but not yet.

Similar reason for Michael Vick. All the other QB's on the list have been spectacular in almost every game Atlanta for the most part has won in spite of Vick than because of him

the three i made exception for are guys i think could make the list if given more time to blossom in their current offenses

1. Peyton Manning
2. Donavan Mcnabb
3. Brett Favre
4. Tom Brady
5. Daunte Culpepper
6. Drew Brees
7. Chad Pennington
8. David Carr
9. Ben Roethlisberger
10. Mike Vick

IMO Pennington's done a damn good job leading his team to a 7-3 record this year. Vick, while his passing numbers are mediocre, more than makes up for it by being a rushing threat. Let's not forget he LEADS THE FALCONS in rushing yards and yards per carry.

Move brady from #3 to #6, and I think you're right on. Also, I agree that the bucs are a different team with Griese QBing.

this is my top 10 in the league right now. Vikings fans, i honestly would have put culpepper above favre, but the moss injury proves that hes not the same QB without an all pro receiver in his corps. I had to bump him down a spot for that. Brady also moved down a spot or 2 because he showed that he is no longer invincible.

his stock went down so much after just 1 loss. Even though he did fall apart in it, what QB hasnt had a loss like that?? (sans ben roethlisberger)

Remember, he still only has lost 1 game in the last 20 plus odd games, and still is one of the best game managers around.
