In 1988, the Eagles went to Soldier Field for their first playoff game in about 7 years. It was Buddy Ryan's and Randall Cunningham's first playoff game.
The game was close in the first half and at halftime, an ungodly fog rolled in off the lake. Visibility was literally about 20 feet. The Eagles went up and down the field all half, getting into the red zone EIGHT times, but couldn't get into the end zone...they lost 20-12. I thin Randall threw for close to 400 yards. Who knows what would have happened without the fog, but it was very frustrating.... BTW, Thomas Jones on your fanstasy team? My condolences..... |
