rogue virus. Best suggestions for removal?

Those rogue viruses generally turn out to be a nasty rootkit or trojan, something along those lines. Obviously run antivirus on it, and then I'd recommend superantispyware and the like. If it still persists, there are some other tools out there that I've used in the past, but they're not for the faint of heart, as they can cause some serious issues if something goes wrong.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a great program.

Best way to remove it tho is by following the path to where it's located and completely removing it.
