http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/homo.gif Mine was better than yours those because I had two 16K RAM packs on the back.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...smilies/24.gif Used to love loading games from a tape recorder which made funny screeching noises for about 5 minutes and then failed to load because the volume wasn't at exactly the right setting and the instructions never told you what that was anyway! Not!http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...smilies/24.gif Remember the fun of writing out a long program in BASIC for hours on end to play some crappy game, not being able to save was a bastard for this too! My cousin once spent 12 hours non stop trying to make a cricket game, he had nearly finished when his sister ran in the room and accidently kicked the plug out of the socket!http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...illy_nilly.gifhttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...illy_nilly.gifhttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...illy_nilly.gif

I've been really wanting to convert this thing into a modern computer... I've just never gotten around to doing it.

actrisski 07-17-2010 03:08 AM

I had an Amiga with a load of games on floppy discs. Haven't got a clue which model it was.

68AttendGem 07-17-2010 03:15 AM

286 with a monochrome monitor. Had a whopping 20 meg harddrive. I had a guy upgrade it and he added widows 3.1. That was in 1989.

acissombiapse 07-17-2010 03:44 AM

My father bought me a Tandy TRS-80 from Radio Shack. I mostly played games on it. Then I had an Apple 2 on which I used to make video games that were like ATARI's Space Invaders.

adultcomicssitedessaa 07-17-2010 04:35 AM

My first computer was an Atari 2600 but I had to share it with my two brothers. All I could do was play games on it but that's all I wanted to do anyway.

gMUVgw71 07-17-2010 06:03 AM

I remember our first household computer was bought just as Windows 95 was released.

A few weeks ago, I was walking by a dumpster at school and saw a box for Microsoft Office 95!

Apple IIe- loved it for 9 years before I moved onto a Mac Performa. Loved that too. Then I PPC...

oh I still miss it to this day! By the time I had upgraded (well, my parents upgraded me to a Commodore VIC20) I had the memory pack, and a proper keyboard for it. So cool. I was still using my ZX81 for BASIC programming up to the late 80s... just for kicks! Hey, remember a TV show called "The Whiz Kids"? They hacked into NASA on a ZX81!!
