anyone know anything about stacking programmes

What do you mean?

well....when taking very close macro shots the depth of field is vertually non existant....with a stacker you take pictures of the same thing but using different focal points then stack them to get better depth..when i get chance i'll post an example

I was thinking of stacking as in running multiple programs at once or something like that
