and now I cant get online right? So I'm trying to install all of the drivers, but I cant connect. So I figured I would be able to download the drivers on this one to a disk and install them that way, but it wont let me save to disk. lol

I'm lost and a noob. Any help would be awesome. Thanks. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

If you plug in your service tag number this should provide you the drivers that go with your computer.

Dell - Search - All Dell.com

If you were trying to down load them from here then maybe try using Internet Explorer. Somethings do not work well with other Browsers.

When you try to copy to a disc or stick what message comes up?

i ahven't read the entire thread so forgive me if this has already been answred

put the drivers disk in drive. then click on the start button, then click on start/run, and type in the drive your disk is in and semi colon forward slash start dot html in the open box and then ok. this should start up the dell disk and bring you to the screen that allows you to chose, click what you need and install... you'll have to do this more than once for some of the drives....dell suckshttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif Thats why i don't do tech support for them any more.

oh and here ya go, right from the Dell site if what i said makes no sense what so ever.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif

incorrect. input drivers; cannot find either net drivers if you cannot type! (kidding, most input devices are abstracted too much, such that a basic keyboard driver is all you need, same for mouse, which are provided for by the operatin system)

wizardasa 10-06-2009 06:32 PM

what? keyboards dont need drivers

yes they do, especially if they use usb connections.

however, the drivers are abstracted enough so that you do not think they need drivers, unless you want the special features of said keyboard.

I think you are confused, special features of keyboards are controlled by macros, you dont need drivers for input devices for them to work, they will function straight off
