I have a cell phone - i want a smartphone, dont need one - want one like the iPhone also like blackberries - need some help deciding which way to go as I said i dont need this it is purely a toy, i dont get much e-mail and that which i do get I can access from work PC or home PC i never send or receive text messages, however as my eldest daughter approaches her teenie years, this may change I do listen to music a lot, also the radio ( my current cell has FM radio) I know iPhone does not have radio yet the Nokia N95 phone does l i do browse the web a bit, but dont download much, my home internet acct allows me some 60 GB per mto download, i average 4-5 GB per month I am iintrigued about apples apps avaialble for the iphone, some look like fun so the factors are music, radio and fun any clues - and btw my current phone a sony ericksson is great for the radio and music palyer bits and probbaly really suits my needs YET i feel the urge to upgrade and I cannot resist urges ![]() |

The apps on the iphone are great. One of them is called Pandora and it will stream music based on the artist or band you choose. There is also AOL radio, which stream radio stations, so that might take care of your radio need.
As for fun, there are many game apps. Lot's of free games, some cost from 99 cents to a few dollars. |

I have a BlackBerry Storm which is similar to an iPhone. It's also (I think) the only non-Apple product that will allow you to download iTunes to it. It does much of the same things as an iPhone, but it doesn't have WiFi...which you don't necessarily need as it has Internet access. I've had no problems with it and really like it!

That freakin' sucks. You should move to the US so you can use it! ![]() you know what the more i think about this I think i just need an ipod touch, all the apps, tons of music, you can plug in an FM roadio thingy made ny griffin for 50 bucks i need the music and video more than i need to talk on a phone, so i can keep my current phone on a reduced pay as i go deal and use the touch for the music lets go stillers ![]() |
