Default Ask.com Search
I downloaded a free photo editing program and it came with the ask toolbar. I really needed the program so I said "Oh well I can uninstall ask later"

WRONG

How do I get this shit off my computer? If I type something in my address bar in Firefox, ask.com comes up.

It changed your default search engine - you'll have to go int the Firefox config menu to change it back.

Or, can you find it in the add or remove programs list in Windows?

Never download such strange toolbars. They can create havoc.

I already uninstalled the program and the add-on and I have clicked on every option I can find in Firefox, but if you have a specific suggestion tell me what to do!

right-click on the line and choose Modify from the popup menu
replace the value with this if you want the Google search function back - copy just the link, not the < > on the ends

Ok, so you got it
