Default Midland getting AT&T 3G soon??
I just heard today that AT&T is going to get 3G in the Midland area in September. Can anyone confirm this?

I figured it'd be at least 2011 before we got 3G.

Yeah, I'd like a link too.. I don't know how you find anything on Yahoo's homepage. What a mess.

I hate to bump up an old thread, but 3G is now available in Midland/Odessa. I wanted to try it out, but my original iPhone presents a problem (no 3G radio - obviously). Has anyone had a chance to try it out and see how speedy (or not so speedy) it is?

We've got another thread discussing this topic but I can't find it now but long story short Yes it works. It's much faster then EDGE.

I've got an AT&T Tilt/HTC Kaiser and it pulls up pages very fast.

Thanks everyone. It wasn't where I expected it to be.

Hopefully I can upgrade to the iPhone 3G one of these days to take advantage of the 3G coverage when I am in Midland/Odessa.
