Default Adobe Photoshop CS5
I'm taking a class in school on digital photography. The guy who is teaching the class is a master and an awesome internationally recognized artist in digital images.

However in order for me to keep up I have to buy CS5....I'm super excited!!!!

Any of you guys have it? Seen the videos on what it can do?!

CS5 is good. there really isnt much difference from the other versions though.. i like the quirky little feature when you use the clone stamp tool it shows you what it will look like before you click it. that was neat!

I saw a video about how easy it is to remove parts of images now, like a tree or something... looked pretty cool.

I hate photoshop as an app tho, it's ruined my profession

Um Janie O'babe if you're going to buy it right now is the time. I have no intention of doing so but I can give you my Elements serial # and you could save a pile of dough.

This is part of what I got in an e-mail from Adobe yesterday....

" for just US$299 and save US$400 off the standard price — exclusively for Photoshop Elements owners. To order by phone, call 800-585-0774 and mention Offer Code getPSCS5. Have your Adobe Photoshop Elements serial code ready for verification. "

i hear it's going to make it damn near impossible for people to keep their watermarks on images.

which is sad.

also, what happened to just being a good photographer?

Meh, should of gone on a course and got it for sub $100, though in theory you won't be able to use it for commercial reasons *sniff*

Yeah, but that never matters it is always cheaper in the US than here, that is why so many people get things in America rather than over here

It's not stealing if I send her the full bought and paid for Elements program is it? I've the full bought and paid for ver 6 in a box unregistered and uninstalled whilst I use my bought and paid for ver 8.

Adobe USA sells it for $699.00 so she got a good deal. It's just a lot of software for someone that isn't making their living with it imo.
