This is with relation to the gang rape in Delhi India. this app tracks location of the person using gps and helps send messages to friends. This can be very helpful in case of emergency and if the girl needs any assistance.

Such apps cant be helpful in case of trouble. Imagine the culprits take away her phone will she do then? There should be some effective device to help out people in case they get stuck. I thing some stand alone GPS device would work fine I think.
