Android app to help in emergency .
 

Guys the chairman of mahindra has launched a free app for android and blackberry users. This is with relation to the gang rape in Delhi India. this app tracks location of the person using gps and helps send messages to friends. This can be very helpful in case of emergency and if the girl needs any assistance.

Such apps cant be helpful in case of trouble. Imagine the culprits take away her phone will she do then? There should be some effective device to help out people in case they get stuck. I thing some stand alone GPS device would work fine I think.

This app can be useful in certain cases, but imagine if someone gets kidnapped? At that time kidnappers will snatch mobile phones from him and switch it off. And second thing not all people have high end android phones so this will be useless for those who have budget phones

Some solid rules and laws need to be implemented in the countries. There should be stricter laws and punishments for those who commit such crimes. Apart from this, officials should also take the necessary steps required for the safety of women and regular patrolling should be done by police.
