What are you doing, and is it saying anything or just not automatically doing it?

Also, are they valid CD's or copies?

Don't you rip the music off of the CD first then add the files to your library? At least that's how I would do it, cause I am not a genius when it comes to this stuff lol.

You can copy CD's into your library though, directly from itunes, which I assume is what sky means. I know I've done it before, I just can't remember how!

oh right, yeah that's not called "uploading" lol

to IMPORT a CD in to iTunes you can simply select the tracks on the CD and then drag into the a playlist. Or even try the "IMPORT CD" button, which is located bottom right when you have the CD selected... or even just hit "yes" when you insert the CD and get asked "would you like to Import the CD into your iTunes Music Library?"

the options are many.

Insert cd/When prompted to import cd to itunes, select yes
Connect ipod to pc
When your device is connected to pc, go to you device in itunes then select music tab at the top, sync music should be ticked
Two options is to sync either entire music selection or a selected playlist or type, artists or albums
