Default MS Live Movie Maker Glitch
Every time I attempt to add a video to LMM I get the error message: Sorry, Windows Live Movie Maker had to shut down unexpectedly. Please restart Windows Live Movie Maker and then try again. (Error: 0x80070057) And when I click OK, the program closes.

This is installed on a nearly new Dell Studio 450 desktop with 4 gigs of memory. The failure happened upon my first attempt to use LMM.

I have searched MS forums high and low for a solution, to no avail. Also, I have done a system file check using the system file checker method which found no problems.

Other than switching software, I don't know what to do next. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Cause of problem was never found, but a solution has corrected the dilemma. A non-destructive re-install of Windows 7 fixed the problem.
