Anyone use torrents? I love these guys, and their "fuck you" attitude

Yeah to download DVD's which I can't afford/refuse to buy. I use private trackers though.

I never really understood torrents... I didn't really figure out how to open them and get the movie or whatnot...
But thank God that they are here... now I can get movies to own from home.

I think some torrents are ok, like stuff that is very hard to find or just isn't sold (i.e. I downloaded Duke Nukem 3D and that just isn't sold anymore, plus the company went under). TPB has been given a court order to shut down so uhhh... I think they should shut down. They just keep changing countries and servers. To be honest I'd be scared to use tpb.

They're still in court right now though. On appeal I think, they already lost the first one.

If you use torrent files you should look at Tor torproject.org which will help mask you

I download ebooks from pirate bay occasionally, but I'm leaning more and more towards paying for those as I do my music. Most of what I have downloaded I own already as an actual book, so I justify it that way.

I use Torrent-Damage. I love it, but am sad they must be having some problems the last couple days I can't get the site to open up. Now I need a replacement for the mean time. Anyone willing to trade me an invite for demonoid and i'll send one for TD when the site is back up?
