Matt's PC got a virus, so he wiped it clean and used his disc to reinstall XP. I'm under network connections now trying to create a new connection. I've gone through every option. My ISP is Comcast, and unless I need to type something in addition to that, that doesn't work.
Obviously it's not my connection, because the wireless is working. So how do I get internet on the desktop? EDIT: And the worst part is: when I try to trouble shoot, it says it can't pull the page up because I'm not connected to the internet! ![]() |

So your desktop is plugged right into the cable modem and it's not getting a connection? Do you have a router or an external modem? She should have both with comcast...Cuz the laptop is getting a signal from the router... Sounds like a TCP/IP problem maybe |
