Yo dudes and ladies: I'm thinkin' about learning one of these coding languages since I think they could come in handy later in life? Anyway, what's the best one to try learning these days? I mean I hear things like javascript and C++ and CGI and all that shit thrown around but does anyone know which is the "best" one to learn in today's society?

writing in "c" with imbedded javascript seems to be the most common I run across these days. What type of programs are you looking at building??

ya, VB is object oriented so it's more drag and drop...sorta like "Programming for Dummies" type of software. Very little coding that you have to do.
