I'm having to watch the Raonic-Giraldo match through the stats only, and it sounds ridiculous! Aces 13-0, DFs 7-0, winners 25-6, UEs 19-5. Without the DF's, Milos would be winning 100% of his first serves and 70% on seconds. At some point, don't you ease up a little bit and make sure you just get them in?? Giraldo is clearly not playing aggressive or anything.

Giraldo playing up to your standards now?

Sorry, this is just kind of abysmal. Down 2 sets to 1 and a break to Giraldo now

What happened to Shahar Peer? At one point in her career, she seemed ready to take a run into the Top 10. And nowadays, her results tend to be mediocre-to-dismal.

Well, he's certainly deciding more of the points now. Looks like Milos took a lot off the first serve in the 3rd, which got his %age way up but obviously doesn't win as many points. Looking at all that, plus a few of his recent matches, I think it's fair to say there is something seriously wrong with his 2nd serve lately. And if you can't count on your 2nd serve, you can't use your 1st as aggressively

Are we under rain delay? Or did the scoreboards stop working?

Just about to ask the same thing. I can't get ESPN3 to work at work so I'm unclear what's happening.

For a second, it looked like she was going to double-bagel me out of the suicide pool. I'm still likely sunk, but at least she's got a couple games. Sigh.

The latter. The live scores-link above still works, though! It's not point- by -point, but lately it has been a lot more reliable than the Slamtracker or the &%$*# that was the Olympics scoreboard.

EDIT: the Slamtracker is back.

Raonic may be stinking up the court again, but I think he wins the award for nicest butt on the tour.

"the Californian was playing the finest yellow ball of her life"

Really? REALLY??? I know it's tough to write a sport without reusing the same phrases again and again. But can't we just call tennis "tennis"?

Raonic 0/4 in break points 5th set. He's certainly got the momentum now, hopefully he can keep that up!

I don't think I've actually seen Kerber play before somehow. I am now on the livestream. I actually like this match and she looks quite sharp and impressive.

Edit:
Okay, nevermind. Now this is more used to what I see when I flip to a random WTA match. Just those few points tricked me terribly.
