Because it is Wimbledon and it would be historic, I would have even rooted for Murray over Novak.
Because it's Wimbledon and it would be historic, I would have even rooted for Federer over Agassi (my childhood idol)!

Fed's first slam was Wimbledon on a tournament where he injured his back along the way... Now would possibly his last slam, and he's injured his back just like in the first. Somehow I like the symmetry!

Plus, it would make for such a beautiful story...

PRESS INFORMATION

QUOTES FROM AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA

“Unfortunately I have picked up an upper respiratory illness, which is affecting my nose and throat. I have been playing a lot of matches here in the rain and cold wind, and I haven’t been well for a few days. The most important thing is that I’m feeling good on the court and playing some good tennis, despite not being able to talk much away from the court.

The priority is my singles match tomorrow, so I will do whatever it takes to make sure I’m ready to play the best I can. It was unfortunate that the illness meant I had to withdraw from doubles. Of course, it is always a good sign to be playing singles and doubles in the second week of a Grand Slam, but I wasn’t able to continue in both events.

As everyone could see yesterday, I wasn’t able to complete my press conference. I was really hoping that I would have improved overnight so I could come in to finish my press today, but unfortunately I can’t speak for very long, and so I have done as much as I can do today. I’m very sorry about that.

Regarding the match against Serena, we have played a couple of times a long time ago. I think it is going to be another challenge, especially here on grass. She’s playing amazing tennis at the moment. I don’t really have much to lose, so I’m going to try my best and we’ll see.

Everyone dreams when they are a kid about becoming No.1, so I’m very happy to have a chance to play for the top ranking. But there is still one very tough match to go. Of course, I will do everything in my power to perform well and win, but it’s not going to be easy. I’m really happy that I’ve been able to improve my ranking so much this year. I think this is the best two weeks of my career, playing my first Grand Slam final and achieving a career-high ranking no matter the outcome tomorrow.”
