You have to love the BBC (on ESPN 3)
I am watching the Simon-Malisse match. A highly entertaining match; high quality.

One of the commentators spots Dick Norman in the stands.

" Dick Norman over thre. Fellow Belgian. 6'9' I think. Big Dick."

followed by prolonged silence. Hilarious.

Brits make wonderful commentators. They don't feel the need to fill up every second between points with chatter, and they feel free to throw in some barbs and sassy criticism of players.

Gotta admit. I'm a sucker for Brian Baker! Woohoo! Thrilled that he pulled it out in straights.

Poor Pironkova, apparently she only had 2 sets worth of tennis in her. If she had taken any of those opportunities in the first set we very well might have been having a very different conversation right now.

Maybe she's trying to offer something extra and justify her equal prize money.

Does Mardy look even more tired than usual or is it just my imagination? Wish he'd been able to close it out in four.
