Minus having to play Domi and Aga again, not a bad draw for Vika. This migt be her best chance here.

Poor Pova. I knew either she or Vika would get Serena.

Anything could happen in the Kvitova quarter, and it wouldn't surprise me.

I have no idea who will come out of that one. Big chance for Barthel there, I guess.

Watch the defending champ be ousted in R-3.

Pretty good draw for Fran. C'mon! One last magical run.

Barthel has it pretty tough, McHale's no cakewalk, and then Li? I think third quarter is most exciting- lots of dark horses in there. Second quarter is interesting as well, will Radwanska be able to hold against the onslaught of past FO champs?

First quarter is pretty boring. Should be a straightforward Stosur-Azarenka quarter.

Fourth quarter is semi-interesting, first few rounds look pretty straightforward- but then Serena has some tough matches.

I like the draw. Lots of people to root for. Also hoping Shvedova gets a nice draw. Best place is probably against Marion, if she can cause the upset.

With absolutely no form coming in, Fran lucked into that section. I could see her making it happen.

While I don't think Venus will make the final, she does have a 5-2 lead in her HTH with Radwanska, and she's way more in form than she was in Miami, so she has the potential to come through that quarter.

Aga was bound to get Vee in the second round, that's what happens when you're my #1. I mean Lena got Justine in the 2nd round so history is just repeating itself.

I'm over here trying to downplay it on Facebook, and now my hopes are gonna get up. Damn youuuuu, JTC! :P

:shots:

I think the winner will come out of the bottom half. Either Serena or Maria, me thinks.

This matchup scares the crap out of me! Ormachea has had a "breakout year" relatively speaking ....although I can't imagine who Venus would draw that wouldn't make me nervous

We've always been enemies then, huh?

At least we'll always have our scrubs.

Yep I'm relying on Eva Birnerova and Tamarine Tanasugarn to save this tournament for me. I'd say they're legitimate dark horses.

@neilharmantimes is reporting that it's unofficially official that Laura Robson will get into the MD due to an injury to one of the Spanish players.
