I was secretly hoping I'd be asleep for the hotmess that will be Pova v. Dulko.

But I'm pleased I should be awake for Dokic v. Chakvetadze!

Pova will handle Dulko with ease. It's when these things are not expected that one is surprised.

But I'm pleased I should be awake for Dokic v. Chakvetadze!
I'll pass as I'm not a fan of either.

Hmm, I would have thought Raonic (being "the new new thing") would merit a show court, but I guess locals are a bigger draw, especially in Australia.

This Lisicki-Voegele match is almost unwatchable. They're both playing some painfully sloppy tennis.

LOL, Lisicki just hit a first serve into the crowd. I'm turning this off.

Yeah, turned it as soon as the ESPN coverage started. That was some cringeworthy tennis.

Lisicki has yet to play a break point with any poise or coherent strategy.

Voegele has a slightly funky game. She goes for unexpected shots sometimes. I guess it's working but when she misses it's like something from a blooper reel.

I seriously don't get why this is the match that Tennis Channel and ESPN both decided they must show right now.

ESPN3 commies gushing over Gasquet's bh. As he stones a volley into the net.

Well, that's a bad sign. Apparently Vera took a pair of scissors to her skirt in the locker room.
